I love this place..such a warm hearted establishment. The art on the walls, the sitting layout to the small bar area was all great. The staff was very friendly; greeted with a smile and waitress was very attentive. Now lets get down to the food..oh was it delicious. I rarely get french toast but man oh man was it good, soft and fluffy..just enough flavor to give life to the toast. And the bacon cooked to perfection..just the right crisp mixed in with a little fat..Omg..don't find to many breakfast restaurants with that type of bacon..I will definitely go back and tell a friend.
It's a small little.spot with great food great atmosphere with friendly staff. Terrance our server was friendly and helpful.with the menu. Highly recommend you check this place
This place was unexpectedly wonderful. From being greeted with great customer service to our server to the bartender for those wonderful mimosas. I first googled them once it was suggested and the pics does this place no justice. The food was delicious. Omg the jerk chicken Alfredo omelette is my fave choice for now til I go back. The banana waffles and chicken were also a great choice. I will be back to conquer the menu.
I just went recently since they changed the decor and I actually like it. The chairs are not as bulky and easier to mover. Service is always on point. I also go during the week so it's not as busy. My go to are the fried chicken wings and French toast. You can not go wrong w either. They don't have a meal with the wings and French toast so for 3 wings it was about $6-7. Not too bad but everything is expensive.
My god the food here was so good I’m eating grits with a fork cause I couldn’t be bothered to reach for the spoon. sweet Jesus everything was amazing the customer service the drinks and don’t even get me started on the food I wish there was a 10/10 to give and reading some of the reviews had me thinking it wasn’t gonna be great but they are lying this food was phenomenal and the people are amazing not a drop left on the plate
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. We went Sunday for brunch and had one of thee BEST times creating new memories. We were a party of 18 and they accommodated us very well. Our waitress, Kenyatta was a Star, attentive, informative and made our experience lively. They have a plethora of choices, scrumptious goodness in every bite and a comfy cozy feel you only get around family. You know someone's granny or aunt was in the kitchen cooking. You will not be disappointed and will start looking at your calendar to see when you can come again.
I visited this location last week with some cousins who found this location online as for me I’ve visited this establishment multiple times. The food is always hot and fresh, the service is always pleasant. My folks had a great experience. The owner “Boss Lady” came over and we had an awesome interaction. She answered all of our questions and gave some insight on her challenges and future goals. She runs her establishment with an iron fist and value her customers experience. We will continue to support your business and hope all is well with all your future endeavors.
My wife and I always spend money with black owned establishments, and on Juneteenth we always find new ones to support. Today we went to Love On Tge Blu, and it was great. The food, the service as well as the atmosphere was great. The owner walked around and talked with everyone, and sat down and had an entire conversation with my wife and 2 other customers, like they were life long friends. She has earned new permanent customers.
The ladies and I took a family member to brunch here for her birthday and everything was amazing! The owner came and talked to us for a while our host Cj was Awesome. The bartender was bartending the drinks were great. All I mean all the food was breathtaking.
This was my second time at LOTB and it was another enjoyable experience. Valencia (please don't be mad if I spelled your name wrong 🫣) was so nice and hospitable. The food was great and my watermelon 🍉 mimosa was delicious! If you're in the Chi, it's a must do! Ima get the lamb chops next time! 🤤
